Hi! I'm Rowan, my pronouns are they/them, and I'm putting this site together as a little hub for my interests and as a way to practice HTML/CSS! I really love old sci-fi, women, and creating things. In particular, making fanart, fanfiction, fanvids, and so on are some of my favorite ways to engage with fandom.
Bigger sites like Tumblr and deviantART have given me (mostly) wonderful experiences in fandom, but I worry about being too tethered to one space given how much censorship and enshittification is on the rise. It seemed like a good idea to give myself my own little corner of the web to combat that a bit. Plus, I really adore looking at older websites dedicated to TV shows from the 90s and early 2000s. So I'm really excited to be able to participate in that in my own small way!
Updates
Oct-28-2025. Started an extremely in-progress shrine page for Hell Girl. I find so many cool shrines and sites for anime out there that I think it would be neat to do some little tributes to ones that have been meaningful to me!
Oct-21-2025. Made a few layout adjustments and started a small shrine page for Earth 2. But I'm still just working on the 1000xRESIST site! The Cryptipedia page is still in-progress, but most of that is me compiling information to later put in so it'll look like not much is going on for a while.
Oct-13-2025. I started a fansite for the game 1000xRESIST! I'm not sure if I'll keep that URL or not, but I'm having a really good time with it and I've learned a few new things (CSS variables, JavaScript nav bar, and random quote generator.
Oct-8-2025. Focusing a ton on a Cryptipedia page project as a tribute to The Secret Saturdays. This taught me how to use JavaScript to make the buttons pull up a new cryptid each time!!! Still in progress.

TO DO: Content for blog page, compile past creations on here, update some blorbo images, flip some colors or install theme switcher, and improve mobile responsivity. I very badly need to make a mobile nav bar so this doesn't look like it's all just one page.
